Welcome
The ADI
is a worldly organization, of benefic character, which brings together
dentists who are anxious to learn, pass on to others their knowledge
and be fully involved in social activities, thus permiting us to increase
the hierarchy of our profession and collaborate with those whom need
our support. Our vision is focused on improving the quality of life
of humanity.
The ADI has a world presence, there is a division in Regions with their
respective Regents.
Each country constitutes a Chapter with a president and it´s own
activities, but bound by a universal plan of action.
Various awards are granted to those who have stood out through exceptional
acts in their diverse fields.
The Academy grants the title of Fellow to those professionals, who have
contributed to the advancement of the profession in at least one or
various ways, such as clinical practice, research, education or public
service and service to the profession. The members of the ADI are chosen
by their peers.
Mans´ goals are; to live, love, learn and transcend. We trust
that our ADI members will be able to reach these objectives.
Uruguay Chapter originated in October 1987, with Dr. Walter Lieber Bielli
as it´s enthusiastic founder, today it is made up of 42 members,
which distinguishes us, as the most numerous South American Chapter.
