Activities
ADI
Uruguay Chapter develops strategies aligned with that of the ADI´s,
there is an annual program for 2004 which is the following:
- General
Meetings every three months in which a member dictates a Training
Conference and afterward continues further study of the progression
of the different activities in which all participate.
- "Uruguay
Chapter" es a publication edited twice a year. It is our means
of written communication, thus maintaining a link with all its Uruguayan
Members.
- Dental
Traumas Prevention Project: A preventive program which will reach
all of Uruguay, directed at public primary school teachers. This implies
editing of a video and printed material (pamphlets).
- Creation
and Maintenance of the Uruguayan Chapter website, with the purpose
of constituting an element of communication between members worldwide.
We wish it to be a model reference to be reproduced by other Chapters
and a means of scientific knowledge and of interchange between all
those who share the honor of belonging to the ADI.
- November
26 and 27. Sheraton Montevideo Hotel.
Organization together with the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International
College of Dentists of two working days of scientific divulgence inscribed
within the celebrations of the 75 years of the foundation of the "Facultad
de Odontología de la Universidad de la República."
On this opportunity, the members of the three academies will dictate
training courses jointly and at the same time each academy will each
have their own particular work meetings.
The main topic will be "Dentistry today. Innovation in Thought
and Technology".
