According to our quality vision and to a patient´s survey that we´ve conducted, we decided to change office of place. Our new dental office opened in February 1998. This new office has very specific qualities, which allow us a great advance in areas concerning efficient, wellness of our employees, excellence in dentistry, hygiene, productivity, technological advance as well as our patient´s satisfaction.

A second floor opened in 2008 specialized in surgery and dental implants. This new area concerns 200 meters built, and has got two specific surgery blocks, that due to their qualities are unique in Uruguay.    
We are going to tell you some points about them, that reflect the concepts that we handle.

The design is open bay layout and in the selection of the materials we´ve paid a lot of attention that they have ISO 9001 certification. An example of this are floor, ceiling, walls, intelligent building system, air conditioning, and specific dental equipment.

We have also an electric power generator just in case of power outage.
We´ve always care about the environment, that´s the reason why the office is thermal insulation from the exterior and the consumption of energy is low. A water recycling system allows us to save 70% of itself. The irrigation sensor controls the procedure and it automatically interrups the procedure when it rains. The amalgam use may generate mercury vapor if procedures does not follow correct standars. Our professionals are trained in this aspects and we follow FDI (Federation Dental Internationational) instructions, as well ase using amalgam capsules and ISO certified amalgamators.

The building intelligent system concerns: raining sensor, air conditioning, lighting system, and outdoor curtains, which are activated by light sensors.
The security system has infrared and fire sensors, which are from ANTEL and goes underground minimizing risks.

We pay special attention to quality of life at work and there is a special place for the employees in which they can rest.

The radiation control is very important for us as well as for our patients. That´s the reason why all the walls are plumbed and we use digital radiographic equipments (their radiation is 90% less than conventional) which is controlled regularly by the “Unidad Reguladora” depending on the goverment.

The building allows us to follow hygiene standars (we follow OSHAS parameters: Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
